Second Emmaus Distance Learning Fall Term
We have officially launched the Emmaus Distance Learning (EDL) initiative with two course offerings this fall. New Testament Survey and Christian Life and Bible Study Methods are running concurrently this semester. We are pleased with the number of students that are able to take advantage of this opportunity to study the Word of God and communicate together in this online modality.
New Testament Survey is being offered as a 16 week course and will run the length of the entire semester, ending December 17th. Christian Life and Bible Study Methods is designed as an 8 week course and will conclude October 15th. Because of this, we have an opportunity to offer another 8 week course that will begin Friday October 23rd. Our intentions are to offer this course to our current EDL students to allow them to continue their studies and earn an additional 3 college credits through the fall term. We will still have room in the class to offer this opportunity to others as well.
This is the course we will be offering:
BT 151 - Survey of Doctrine (3 credits)
A basic foundation in theology is provided through a study of the major themes of the Bible, including Theology Proper, Bibliology, Christology, Pneumatology, Angelology, Soteriology, Anthropology, Hamartiology, Ecclesiology, and Eschatology. A personal Statement of Faith is required of each student as a term project.
This course is ideal for any high school student who would like to get a JumpStart on college while still in high school. However, it is also a great course for anyone who desires to dig deeper into the Word of God in a systematic way.
