Expanding Secondary Education Program at Emmaus
Dubuque, IA: Emmaus Bible College is pleased to announce the addition of a new endorsement in our Secondary Education Program! Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be recommended for Iowa State teacher licensure with a 5-12 endorsement in English/Language Arts.
The Secondary Education program, which began in 2012, has proven to be an attractive program for many new students at Emmaus. Our first program graduates received their Iowa State teacher licensure in May of 2015 and are now employed teaching, coaching and substituting in public and private schools in Iowa and Michigan.
The Secondary Education program includes a major in Bible/Theology, which provides a strong Biblical foundation for teaching philosophy and practice. Graduates of the program will be well-equipped for positions in public and private secondary schools as well as home school settings.
At Emmaus, our education programs are designed to offer the highest quality professional training, rooted in Biblical truth. Current Secondary Education major Austin Nuce says, “At Emmaus Bible College a student can receive one-on-one instruction and mentoring. Nowhere else could I have received the attention I needed to achieve my goals.”
